HTTP Status Code Checker

Checks the HTTP response code of pages (200, 301, 404, 500) and the redirect chain. In bulk.

ℹ️ The check runs from our server (browsers can’t read cross-origin status codes due to CORS).

0 / 100

What the codes mean

  • 2xx — success (200 — page served normally)
  • 3xx — redirect (301 permanent, 302 temporary)
  • 4xx — client error (404 not found, 403 forbidden)
  • 5xx — server error (500, 502, 503)

FAQ

What does this tool show?

The HTTP response code of each page (200 — OK, 301/302 — redirect, 404 — not found, 5xx — server error), the full redirect chain and the response time.

Why does it matter for SEO?

Broken links (404), long redirect chains and 5xx errors hurt indexing and waste crawl budget. Bulk checking helps you find issues across a site quickly.

Why does the check run on a server, not in the browser?

Due to CORS, a browser cannot read the status code of another domain. So the request runs on our server and the result is returned to you.

Can I check several URLs at once?

Yes. Paste a list of URLs, one per line — they are checked in bulk.
