HTTP Headers Checker

Shows the raw server response and headers per hop with SEO and security diagnostics.

ℹ️ Shows the raw HTTP response per redirect hop. The check runs from our server.

What to look for in headers

  • X-Robots-Tag — indexing block at the header level (noindex/nofollow)
  • Link: rel=canonical — canonical URL set via header
  • Content-Encoding — whether compression is on (gzip/br)
  • Cache-Control — how the page is cached
  • Strict-Transport-Security and more — security headers

FAQ

What does this tool show?

The raw HTTP response — status line and all headers — for every redirect hop, as seen by the chosen User-Agent. Plus diagnostics: indexing, canonical, compression, cache and security headers.

Why inspect headers for SEO?

Headers hide things invisible in the status code: X-Robots-Tag with noindex (a page returns 200 but is blocked from indexing), a canonical via the Link header, cache and compression settings. These are common indexing pitfalls.

What is the “Permanent link”?

The button copies a link with the URL and User-Agent in its parameters. Opening it re-runs the same check — handy to save or share.

Can I check how the site responds to Googlebot or YandexBot?

Yes — pick a User-Agent (Googlebot, YandexBot, mobile) and the request goes out with it. Servers sometimes serve bots something different from browsers.
